Welcome to the University of Minnesota! Using either this website or app, you can view programming for orientation, welcome week, and more.

Please follow the instructions below to access our Orientation & Transition programming.

Step 1: Download the Gopher Transitions App

You can find links to download the UMN Gopher Transitions app above.
The app is available on both Android and iOS.

Step 2: Create a Profile

Once you open the app, you'll be prompted to create a profile. Please fill this out and double-check your information. Your profile will allow us to send you the proper notifications and updates.

You have the option to skip the profile creation process; however, some features of the app will be locked if you do not have a complete profile.

Step 3: Access Orientation Programming, Resources, and More

After the profile setup process, you’ll be able to access orientation programming and resources for the upcoming year. Additionally, if you set up a profile, you will be included in various notification channels where you will get exclusive updates for orientation and welcome week.

You can use these channels to:

- Stay up to date with announcements

- Ask questions

- Connect with other students
